Hey city fans and thoughtful gift ponderers,

Behind Stadtbildposter, or SPB for short, is me - Dimitri, founder and operator of Stadtbildposter. I'm glad you found your way to SPB!

How did I come up with this idea, you ask? (Or maybe not...)

It all started with my urban planning studies.

Back then, I learned how to use various digital drawing programs, which enabled me to draw buildings and landmarks that I particularly liked and that evoked very specific memories in me.

I drew them on my laptop, printed them out, and hung the posters in my student flat.

It turned out that the motifs were very well received, so I decided to intensify my hobby a bit to give you the opportunity to feel close to your favorite places.

Because...

Each of us carries places in our hearts because we associate them with very special memories or wishes.

We recall places from our homeland or favorite city that are linked to unforgettable moments from our lives.

Not always, but often, these are city landmarks that we mentally associate with them.

And not infrequently, city landmarks are also places of longing that motivate us because we are already making plans for the future.

Whether it's a memory or a future goal - I'm very happy if you can bring yourself or your loved ones a little closer to a place of longing with these posters!
